Aguilera's first step towards the big screen was starting as singing a part of the new remake of 1975's "Lady Marmalade" from the 2001 movie Moulin Rouge, grouping with Mya, Pink, Lil' Kim and Missy Elliott. Her second debut was less visual as she was a member of the soundtrack for Shark Tale and played the voice of a character with minimal speaking roles. Now she's stepping up and ready for musicals, combing her love with a new opportunity.
Christina Aguilera's making her silver-screen debut in a musical called Burlesque, about a small-town girl who makes good, somehow, by working at a Cabaret-like L.A. performance venue. It was written with her in mind, for Christina's big voice and retro-sexy vibe.Well, as Aguilera says in her 2008 hit song, Keeps Gettin Better, X-Tina fans should "Hold on! It keeps gettin' better!"
